Port Aventura Golf

The Golf Centre Sant Jaume is one of the pioneers of the Pitch& Putt in the province . It has a course of 9 holes and conserves all the elements of the beautiful environment that surrounds it.

The North Course, designed by Greg Norman, is harmoniously integrated with its surroundings: lagoons, an immense wetland and the Sèquia Major.

With each stroke, the course gives the player the chance to appreciate the area´s natural scenery. Port Aventura Golf has restored the original landscape, and the 18 holes blend seamlessly with the wetlands and the Sèquia Major, named an Area of Natural Interest by the Generalitat of Catalonia.

It is an exciting round that will allow golfers to know what it feels like to play holes that require stroke strategy and precision on a course that can be won by overcoming obstacles with extreme caution.

Designed by Greg Norman, the Centre Course is a living example of a Mediterranean landscape that has endured for thousands of years. The course is located on the highest part of the resort, where ancient olive and carob trees were kept, now replanted by PortAventura Golf to restore the original landscape.

Contemplate the Roman and medieval structures uncovered during excavations to find the peace required for the most precise strokes.

The Centre Course is a par 34, 9 hole round and is designed for all types of players. Thanks to its location between the North and South courses it can be easily combined with rounds played on these two courses.

Players are awarded with the sight of the Mediterranean Sea’s infinite horizon over forests of white pine while playing on the South Course.

Quarries are placed in such a way throughout the course that it is easy for golfers to forget that they are playing on a green flanked by bunkers. Let yourself be guided through olive and carob tree plantations. The integration of the course with its surroundings is so complete that even the Clubhouse seems like it was born from rock.

Don’t let the distance of the course intimidate: even though the course can be used for professional competitions, each hole was designed to guarantee entertainment for all levels of players.
