UHC prices

The prices published on our webpage www.universalholidaycentre.com are quoted per week / per property.

During Easter week, the prices quoted are per night / per property. The minimum stay is four nights.

In high season the minimum stay is always seven nights, from Saturday to Saturday. For further information, please contact the booking department.

Handling charges: €20 per booking

Optional service:late arrival

Keys can be collected between 16.00 and 19.30 (19.30 at the latest). If you are arriving after this time, you must let us know when making your booking. If you arrive after 21.00 you will be charged €95. Late arrivals are only admitted from the 19 of June until the 18 of September. If there are any changes to your arrival time after making the booking, or should you be delayed on the day of arrival, you must let us know as soon as possible, and by 19.30 at the latest.

IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED PRIOR NOTICE OF ARRIVALS AFTER 19.30, UHC CANNOT GUARANTEE THE BOOKING.

We also inform all customers that arrivals after 00.00 will not be admitted.

Late arrival charge: €95

Optional service: Internet connection

At UHC we aim to continually increase the services we can offer you. We now offer an Internet service enabling you to connect your computer to a USB modem and use all the Internet services you require.

When you pick up the keys, UHC will ask you for a €50 deposit and provide you with a pen drive. This should be returned to the person charged with inspecting the property. You will receive your deposit back once the property has been checked.

The internet connection has to be reserved for the whole duration of your stay, and not for only a few days. Since the limited number of pen drives, we cannot guarantee the availability, so we advice you to reserve this service in time and per email.

Price: 6€ a day

Optional service: cot / baby chair

Are you travelling with children? UHC is a company that caters for children and we have plenty of accommodation options which offer convenient and enjoyable family holidays. UHC gives you the possibility of booking a cot and/or baby chair when reserving your accommodation to ensure everything you need is in place on arrival. If you wish to add these items after confirming your booking, please send us an e-mail at least one week before your arrival.

Prices:

  • Cot: €8 / night
  • Baby chair: €4 / night

Optional service: welcome pack

For your convenience, we can offer you our welcome pack which will cover all your initial needs on the day of arrival. You can request this when booking your accommodation so it will be ready for you when you arrive.

The welcome pack contains:

  • 1 litre of milk

  • 1 Litre of Orange Juice

  • 1.5 litres of water

  • Loaf of sliced bread

  • Cereal

  • Ground coffee

  • Tea

  • Sugar

  • Jam

  • Chocolate spread

  • Washing up liquid

  • Scourer

  • Coffee filters

  • 2 rubbish bags

Price: €40

Optional service: cleaning service on departure

At the end of your stay you will need to leave the accommodation in the same state you found it. If you wish, you can book a cleaning service for the end of your stay and we will take care of ensuring everything is spick and span.

Prices for this service are as following:

  • 1 bedroom properties: €50
  • 2 bedrooms properties: €60
  • 3 bedroom properties: €70
  • Semi-detached house: €95
  • Private villa: from €160

If you wish you can also book a cleaning service during your stay which will be charged by the hour. You can check the prices on arrival at our office.

Optional service: cancellation guarantee

As unexpected things can happen which might mean having to cancel your well-deserved holiday, UHC offers you a CANCELLATION GUARANTEE which gives you peace of mind should you have to cancel your holiday for the reasons specified below. For this guarantee to be valid, the agency must be informed of the cancellation at least three working days following the event causing the cancellation. A full list of the reasons covered by this guarantee is given below. All cancellation requests must be accompanied by precise and unequivocal proof and sent by certified post. The cancellation guarantee only ensures the reimbursement of the quantity paid for the booking and does not include handling charges and the cost of the cancellation guarantee. In no case does it cover any other costs related to your stay (transport, childcare, etc.)

The cancellation guarantee becomes invalid from the beginning of your stay and will not be considered valid should any of the following incidents occur during your stay:

  • Serious bodily injury, serious illness or death of the person responsible for the booking or their partner, descendants or ascendants. Serious illness is understood as being an alteration in the person’s health which has been verified by a competent medical authority and means that they person is unable to go out or carry out any type of professional or other activity. A serious accident is understood as being a non-deliberate accident on the part of the victim caused by a sudden action from an exterior source which would impede the person from getting around.

  • Redundancy or dismissal of the person responsible for the booking or their partner on the basis that notification from the employer was received after the guarantee came into force.

  • Damages suffered in the holder’s main residence as a consequence of a fire, water damage, storm or natural catastrophe.

  • Delivery of an adopted child.

  • Surgical procedure undergone by the insured party, their partner or a first or second degree family member.
