The origin of the cuisine of Cambrils come from the "ranxo" (the mess food that the fishermen prepared on board). So, it is essentially a seafood cuisine where fresh fish from Cambrils is the protagonist. Small hake, anchovy, sardine, mackerel, octopus, horse mackerel, sea bass, turbot, sea bream, grouper, sole… And, of course, the galleys.
