The Beaches of Hospitalet de l’Infant
Are looking to spend lazy days sunbathing on golden sands? Or why not try your hand at some watersports, a spot of beach Volleyball or perhaps just build a sandcastle with your kids?
You are lucky! Hospitalet de L'Infant has all of those! Four is the number of beaches and all of them are awarded with an EMEA environment quality service. From long golden beaches in natural settings with Mediterranean vegetation to others located in the urban centre. In addition, most of them offer nautical activities too.

1. Playa El Arenal - Perfect for a family day at the beach.
Break your routine, have a swim, get a tan, build sandcastles and play volleyball with your kids. This beach has it all. It is the largest beach and runs along the promenade. Ideal for small kids thanks to the shallowness, power-sanded, crystal clear water and many services like beach bars, lifeguard service, sun loungers rental, pedal boats, toilets, toilets and showers and even a kindergarten service in summer.
Next to the football field, you can practice any kind of water sports at the Estacion Nautica, the local water sports centre. Kayak, sailing, paddle surfing or windsurfing. Come over and try them all!

2. Playa El Torn - Considered one of the best Naturist beaches of Europe.
Thanks to it's isolated location, crystal clear cool, calm water and scenic value with dunes and pine forests, this is the perfect beach to enjoy nature and practice nudism. Secluded and surely not overcrowded area.
There are 2 excellent beach bars serving lunch and drinks with great service and friendly staff. Go au naturel! There are beach chairs for rent for those who need them. Park your car near the entrance of the camping Cala D'oques. Facing the sea, on the right you will find the path that leads you to the El Torn beach.

3. La Punta del Riu - Watersports and nature.
Small semi-urban beach formed by fine sand with a very steep entry in the water. Natural boundary between Hospitalet de L'Infant and the neighbouring town of Miami Playa. Check out the Llastres river estuary, a Mediterranean wetland and shelter to indigenous migrant birds and fish. This beach is easy to reach and offers a wide range of water sports: from jet-ski to sport fishing, without forgetting windsurfing on a windy day.
As for basic services, it offers daily cleaning and maintenance, toilets and showers and a beach bar for lunch, drinks and ice creams!

4. Playa L'Almadrava - The best fishing spot on the Costa Dorada.
Fishing enthusiasts - pay attention! This beach is perfect for shore and boat fishing. Get your Bass, Bluefish or Gilthead. We strongly advise to check the weather conditions before going as this beach is usually quite windy.
L´Almadrava beach is located next to the Marina and the promenade of Hospitalet de l'Infant. Fishermen's families settled in the area in the 1920s on a stretch along the coastline and formed what now is the Almadrava, a traditional promenade with small white Mediterranean houses.
Beach of fine golden sand, although there are many pebbles and moderate waves. There are beach bars for lunch, drinks and ice cream. Sunshade and sunlounger rental, toilets and showers, playgrounds for the kids and a nice sports area are at your disposal. It might get a bit crowded in summer though.
