EXTRA
We propose two experiences for you to enjoy in Salou:
1- A pleasant walk along Paseo Jaume I, the lively seafront promenade of Salou. In addition to enjoying the sea breeze and the atmosphere, you will be able to admire numerous modernist buildings with facades full of details. Among them stand out the Chalet Voramar and the Casa Bonet, work of the famous modernist architect Domènech Sugranyes i Gras, disciple of Antoni Gaudí
2- Visit the pier of Salou harbour. It dates from the 19th century and was built to shelter the fishermen's boats. Subsequently remodelled, it currently houses a sculpture by artist Ramon Ferran i Pagès entitled Monument to the Fisherman. The walk to the pier is very pleasant and, once there, it is worth observing how this construction divides the beaches of Ponent and Llevant, separating two very different atmospheres: one more tranquil and another more lively
As you can see, in Salou it is very easy to combine leisure and culture without your budget getting out of hand. Furthermore, you will be able to enjoy numerous free activities that will help you create unforgettable memories of your holiday.
